Housing and Urban Design guidelines

North Shore City has produced a series of booklets called “Good Solutions Guides” which are relevant to specific forms of housing and development. The Guides are intended to provide clear direction and practical advice for developers wishing to undertake a project. The Good Solutions Guides are also for use by architects and designers as well as planners and other decision makers involved in assessing resource consent applications.
All guides also provide an interesting read for anyone who has a general interest in current development practice.

A further guide, What to Look for When Buying a Terraced House or Apartment is also available. This guide is intended assist prospective buyers when purchasing a more intensive form of dwelling.
