North Shore City schools have been involved in research projects investigating various aspects of school travel behaviour. We will add further reports to this page in the future.
Tempting teenagers to cycle
During 2006, a research project was undertaken to identify barriers to teenagers cycling to and from school. Nineteen North Shore intermediate and secondary schools took part in the research.

In 2006/2007, research was conducted for a masters thesis at Campbells Bay School. The research examined parents’ motivations and decision-making processes in determining how their children would travel to school.
