These school holidays won’t be forgotten soon by Amy Lewis who rode away on a brand new bike courtesy of Avantiplus at this week’s Kids Bike Day.

This holiday’s Kids Bike Day event was held at Onepoto Domain in Northcote and attracted over 120 children aged 7 – 12 years of age.

There were many younger siblings there also who came with parents to play in the surrounding park on tricycles, jump on the bouncy castle and get their faces painted with butterflies and tiger stripes.  

Eight-year old Amy Lewis from Torbay came with her dad and her sister and was says she was stoked and surprised to find herself the winner of a flash new bike.    

The prize draw capped off another great day of biking activities aimed at upskilling our kids on riding techniques and road rules – keeping our city’s children active and safe.
