Bike Wise Month is a nationally coordinated programme that promotes biking as an enjoyable, fun, healthy and sustainable means of transport.
There is a whole range of cycling related events happening in North Shore City during Bike Wise Month, from elite races that are exciting to watch, to beginner training sessions and triathlons.

Friday 30 January
North Shore City Grand Prix Cycling Race Takapuna

Molenberg Sub Ride and Stride Series North Harbour Stadium

Weet-bix Tryathlon Narrowneck Beach Reserve

Monday 16 February
Beginner Cycle Training North Harbour Stadium: 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Free basic skill session for anyone new to cycling including an on-road ride. Organised by North Shore City Council and Big Foot Adventures. Information here

Go By Bike Day Takapuna: 6:30am – 9:00am
A free breakfast for all cyclists, including entertainment, prizes and cycle information. Organised by North Shore City Council. Information here
