New Zealand's first two Park & Ride bus stations at Constellation Drive, Rosedale and Albany opened in late 2005. They represented the start of significant improvements to bus services and facilities in and around North Shore City.

We have expanded the car park at Albany station. There are now about 500 free parking spaces at Albany and about 370 at Constellation Station. Better bus services, a better experience

Northern Express services offer passengers direct travel to Auckland City, and run every seven or eight minutes during weekday peak hours, and regularly during the daytime, evening and on weekends.

Additional feeder services linking to the new stations from surrounding suburbs have also been introduced.

These buses are getting a head start on other traffic thanks to transit lanes allowing buses to bypass traffic congestion during peak times on the busiest city streets.

Comfort and safety

Covered walkways lead from carparks to the station platforms. Security and busway officers patrol each station and monitored security cameras ensure safety 24 hours a day.

Both Park & Ride stations have kiosks selling fresh coffee and snacks, as well as bus tickets - and you can even take your coffee on the bus.

Bike racks and lockers are available at both stations.
