Parking Park n Ride There are Park n Ride facilities at two bus stations on the Northern Busway, the city’s high speed dedicated bus lane which extends from Albany to Takapuna. The two stations are at Constellation and Albany. The Park n Rides are both very popular and fill up fast. However it was never intended that people using buses on the Busway should drive to their local station and then park their car. Instead, with more buses and better services now available, we are encouraging people use buses for their entire journey, starting with catching a local bus to the Busway station, and leaving their vehicle at home. To find out details about your neighbourhood services and bus timetables, call MAXX on 3666400 or visit www.maxx.co.nz MAXX is responsible for the region’s bus services. There is a transferable ticket you can buy, called the MAXX Northern Pass. It allows you to change or transfer from your local bus to another bus at the Busway station without having to buy another ticket. However, if you choose to drive to your nearest Busway station and are unable to find a space in the park and ride car park, please do not be tempted to park illegally in the area, including berms, because you will be ticketed. Enforcement Officers patrol the car parks daily. Instead of driving your car to a Park n Ride, consider some other options: Car pooling Walking or Cycling |
