Parking in public car parks

For those who do not wish to park on the street, North Shore City Council operates two car parking buildings in Takapuna for short-term parking, on Anzac St and on Killarney St, next to the Bruce Mason Centre.

These car parks use an automated pay system. Take a ticket as you enter the car park. Before you return to your vehicle, insert your ticket into one of the pay machines and pay the correct fare to validate your ticket. Then insert your validated ticket into the barrier machine on your way out.

The first hour of parking at Anzac St car park is free.
