What is RSS?
RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication. RSS is a web format most commonly used in Blogs and News sites which allows you to keep up to date with the latest information on those sites. That summary of information comes in the form of an RSS feed which users can subscribe to. The summary of information will normally have a heading, a description, a date and of course a link that links you to the actual content on a website. Subscribing is as easy as adding the feed link to your preferred RSS Reader (sometimes referred to as a feed aggregator).
