Community planting days

North Shore City Council’s Parks department would like your help to revegetate pockets of our parks and reserves.

Each year we organise a series of community planting day throughout the city over the winter months to plant New Zealand natives.

The aim is to visually improve the quality of our city's waterways and to encourage native vegetation and wildlife to inhabit and thrive in our city.

Talk to us now about taking part in our next event.

Make a day of it. Bring a spade (if you have one) and sturdy footware. We'll provide a barbeque and drinks.
