The Recycling Game

Did you know that rubbish is a big problem?

We produce lots of rubbish everyday through the things we buy and the things we throw away when we don't need them any more.

Rubbish gets buried in a big hole in the ground called a landfill. Landfills can be smelly and dirty – Yuck!

We can Reduce, Reuse and Recycle so there is not so much rubbish going to the landfill.

Try Sort it! - the recycling game and find out how much you know about where your rubbish should go!

The North Shore City Sort it! game is an educational resource for children, teachers and parents based on North Shore City Council's rubbish and recycling collections. Sort it! was named by Denzil Whitcombe of Verran Primary School.
