We have a series of pollution prevention information sheets that cover a wide range of topics related to pollutant types and activities such as concrete, oil, paint and vehicle washing.

These sheets provide advice on how to recognise pollution problems in and around your home and workplace and some basic steps you can take to prevent pollution from occurring.

Auckland Regional Council’s ‘Environmental Operations Plan’ (EOP)

The EOP is a ‘do-it-yourself’ guide for medium to large businesses, which provides advice on carrying out an environmental audit, identifying problems and risks, and guidance on how to address them. The EOP is free to all high-risk companies in the Auckland region. Contact the Auckland Regional Council’s pollution prevention team for more information on 366 2000.
