Cemetery search information
About searching
- Enter a surname and / or forename(s) into the cemetery search and click on "Search Now".
The search will return a list of results starting with the closest match to the name(s)
you entered, so the list will not necessarily be in alphabetical order.
- In some cases one name may display two results. This is because a record for the cremation
may exist as well as a separate record for the interment (burial) of the ashes.
- A search may return many results and these will be displayed over multiple pages.
- You can change the order of the results by clicking on any of the column titles.
A second click on a column title will reverse the order of the results.
- Before you start a new search, click on "Reset" to clear all previous search criteria.
Online records information
- Burial records are available online and start from the 1850’s.
- Cremation records are available online and start from 1974 when the crematorium facility at
Schnapper Rock Rd, Albany, opened.
- Cremation records indicate if there has been an ashes interment (burial) or that further
information is available (e.g. a plaque has been installed on the Memorial Wall or that an ashes
plot has been purchased but not yet used).
- All information here is supplied by funeral directors and families and is accurate to the best
