Cemeteries and crematorium

They are well maintained so they are peaceful places where family and friends can visit their loved ones, and others can enjoy their park-like settings. The cemeteries also hold a wealth of information about North Shore City's history, especially at its older, closed cemeteries such as Mt Victoria and St Mary's Pioneer Cemetery. North Shore Memorial Park is the only cemetery in North Shore City where either full burial or ashes plots are available for purchase. Interments are carried out occasionally at existing or reserved plots at other cemeteries. You can find out information about where a person is buried by entering the surname or forename(s) into the cemetery search. Burial records start from the 1850s, and cremation from 1974. All North Shore City cemeteries are open 365 days a year. Summer daylight savings hours are 6am to 8pm and winter hours are 6am to 6pm. Cemetery information
