This is the 10th issue of North Shore City Council's Infrastructure Design Standards Manual. The purpose of this manual is to define Council's engineering design and compliance requirements for the following infrastructure assets:
- Geotechnical
- Transportation
- Stormwater
- Water Supply
- Wastewater
- Parks and Reserves
There have been significant improvements and efficiencies to the specifications detailed in the content of this manual. These improvements are designed to provide clear and concise guidelines to assist with maintaining and improving the standards of infrastructure within the City.
This internet version is the principal means of obtaining and referencing the manual. By publishing the manual on the internet it is provided at no cost, ensuring efficient and timely publishing of the document and subsequent amendments. The first web based version of the manual was first made available in 2002 as users indicated this form of access as their preference.
