Water Services

Water, wastewater and stormwater

North Shore City Council is responsible for managing water supply, wastewater and stormwater services in North Shore City. We're committed to doing our job in a way that protects public health and safety, respects the environment and uses ratepayers money wisely. We're also working towards a fairer system of charging for water services.

Water supply, wastewater and stormwater, while separate services, form part of the same cycle. The illustration below shows how that cycle works, and how your contribute to it.

We're continuously upgrading our water, stormwater and wastewater networks throughout the city to bring you crystal clear drinking water, and to protext our streams and beaches. On the following pages you can learn more about what we're doing, and also what you can do to help us to make our city a great place to live, work and play.

For further information about the 'three waters' please refer to our A-Z of water information. If you still can't find what you are looking for, telephone us on 486 8600 and you will be put in touch with the right person to help you.
