Visiting mayors tour city facilities

Mayors from the Caribbean island of Trinidad and West Africa’s Sierra Leone visited our world-class wastewater treatment plant on Friday to hear first hand about our existing infrastructure and future plans to meet growth demands.

Pictured above with the plant’s supervisor Martin Ross is Winstanly Johnson, Mayor of Freetown in Sierra Leone (left), and Murchison Brown, Mayor of Port of Spain in Trinidad (right). The mayors were our guests for two days prior to the Commonwealth Local Government Conference in Auckland.
