Increasing Hillcrest sewer capacity

Work is under way on a $2m initiative to increase the sewer capacity in key Hillcrest streets.
The project continues until October, and may cause some disruption at different times to residents in Tilden Ave, Moore Street, Eban Ave and Sylvia Road.

Underground directional drilling techniques will be used to minimise traffic disruption during the installation of a new 1.4km long trunk sewer. Sewers in other parts of the wider Hillcrest area will be upgraded over the next three years.
