Drink water for health
![]() Hard on the heels of the Kidney Foundation’s ‘National Drink Water Week’, we are encouraging people to drink more of the high quality water that is readily available from your tap. Water is well known for its health properties. It has been proven to aid digestion and nutrient absorption, improve circulation and body temperature control, promote healthy skin, and assist with detoxification and joint suppleness. The Ministry of Health’s recommendation is to drink six to eight glasses of water a day. In North Shore City, we receive Aa-grade tap water sourced from the Waitakere and Hunua Ranges and the Waikato River. Quite simply, at the turn of your tap you have access to the most essential ingredient of all – water – a low cost yet vital contribution to your health. |
