The traffic data contained in this website is intended to be used as an approximate indication of traffic flows on main arterial routes in North Shore City. The traffic volumes are typically calculated from individual counts over one week intervals.

The frequency of surveying a site depends on the importance and relevance of its location for traffic flows and capital projects.

The limitations of the traffic counters and their installation, conversion of axle pairs to vehicle counts (in the case of tube counts), seasonal variations, congestion effects, and various analysis procedures contribute to a level of approximation in the data. These factors should be taken into account when using the data.

North Shore City Council and its employees or agents involved in preparation and publication of this data cannot accept liability for its contents or for any consequences arising from its use.
