Road closures for ANZAC Day Parades, Sunday 25 April 2010

Birkenhead

• Stop/Go controls in place 9am - 11am
• Mokoia Road from Willow Avenue to Mahara Avenue
• Mokoia Road from Huka Road to the Highbury Bypass
• Mahara Avenue a partial closure whilst the parade passes

Browns Bay

• Roads closed 5am - 10am
• Bute Road from Glen Road to Clyde Road
• Clyde Road from Bute Road to Manly Esplanade
• Manly Esplanade from Clyde Road to Valley Road
• Access to Beachfront Lane from Anzac Road only
• Bute Road will open once the parade has passed
• Detours via Inverness Road, Bute Road (heading west) and Oban Road

Devonport

• Roads closed from 9am, all open by 12noon
• King Edward Parade from Buchanan Street to Victoria Road
• Victoria Road from Queens Parade to Fleet Street
• Clarence Street from Wynyard Street to Victoria Road
• Detours via Buchanan Street and Wynyard Street, Rattray Street, Clarence Street, Bartley Terrace, and Fleet Street (once the parade has moved into Victoria Street)

Glenfield

• Roads closed from 10.30am - 12.30pm
• Hall Road and Ross Avenue
• Residents access provided by stop/go controls

Northcote

• Roads closed 9.30am - 12noon
• No parking from 7.00am
• Bartley Street from Richmond Road to Queen Street - closed
• Stop/Go control in place on Queen St between Clarence Rd and Rodney Rd and while the parade passes
• Rodney Street from Queen Street to Church Street – closed
• Detours via Clarence Road, Church Street and Stafford Road

Takapuna

• Roads closed 9am - 11am
• Lake Road from Tennyson Avenue to The Strand
• The Strand from Lake Road to Gibbons Road
• Access to Bracken Avenue, Byron Avenue and Tennyson Avenue from Burns Avenue only
• Lake Road will open once the parade has passed
• Detours via Hurstmere Road, Burns Avenue and Tennyson Avenue
