Submitting your Building Consent Application Online

If your property is in North Shore/Takapuna, you can submit your application online here.

This facility is only available for residential building consent applications. 

By submitting online, you can complete and forward your application electronically together with digital plans and specifications. You will be able to pay for your building consent application at the same time.

Online applications are processed through a secure Government Logon Service (GLS). If you are a first-time user, select the option ‘Create an igovt logon’.

In person

You can drop your application in to your nearest customer service centre.
