North Shore City Council provides a weekly rubbish collection and a fortnightly recycling service for households. Rubbish will only be collected if it is placed in either a 40-litre or 60-litre official prepaid orange rubbish bag.
Your recycling is collected fortnightly on the same day as your usual rubbish collection. Check the recycling calendar for your recycling week.
Paper and cardboard are collected on the same week as your recycling bin. Bundle together securely with string or place in plastic bags and put on the ground beside your recycling bin on collection day.
Note: Rubbish and recycling should be placed out on the kerbside in front of your property no later than 7am on the morning of your collection day.
