Food Grading Search

Our Environmental Health Officers grade food premises so that you can make an informed decision when choosing a restaurant or buying food.

Shops, restaurants and cafés throughout North Shore City are graded from 'A' to 'C' on their standards of cleanliness, food handling and staff training in food safety.

Grade definitions:

A - High standard of food safety practices

B - Satisfactory standard

C - Some concerns

Exempt - NZFSA approved food safety programme is in place
