There are thousands of individuals and organisations working daily in North Shore City to make it a wonderful place to live. Making sure people know where local services and resources can be found is the role of our team of community coordinators. There are six community coordinators across the Shore who develop local event programmes, lead and support community development initiatives and run local networks meetings.
You can view a list community houses and centres in your area, see link below. These centres provide a variety of programmes and classes from education, health and wellbeing, to arts and recreation. Some also run school-holiday and after-school programmes.
Council is also responsible for a number of different types of community grants and funding. Find out if your group meets the criteria and what grants are available.
