Become a Padi Scuba Diver with North Shore Leisure.PADI DIVE COURSES

NSL is very proud to be able to offer you the opportunity to learn to become a Padi Scuba Diver and be able to experience the amazing feeling of what life would be like as fish in the wide open ocean.

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) is the largest scuba training organization in the world. PADI accredited NSL is currently running Openwater Courses and Advanced Openwater Courses.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

A small amount of class room work and some pool skills in our massive Glenfield pool and once that’s completed your off north to Goat Island Marine reserve to dive where there’s amazing fish life and crayfish everywhere and extremely safe diving conditions.

WHEN ARE THEY HELD?

Due to popular demand, NSL is running weekend courses is to ensure that there is plenty of time for everybody to learn the necessary skills without any rush.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

NSL supplies the Open Water pack, which includes a Recreational Dive Planner, Dive Log Book, and lots more.

We also supply your wetsuit, regulator with depth gauges, buoyancy compensation device (BCD), tanks and pocket weight belt for the pool and sea dives on the course. Once you have completed your course successfully you will receive your PADI International Certification Card.

WHAT DO I NEED TO SUPPLY?

All you need is your swim suit, towel and your own mask, fins, snorkel and boots. Two passport-size photos and a completed Dive Medical Form are also needed before you start the course. We provide TUSA Dive packages which include mask, Fins, and Snorkles and Dive gear.

HOW WELL DO I NEED TO SWIM?

PADI requires you be able to swim 200 meters in our pool and tread water for 10 minutes in any style.
