Grants and funding

Through its annual grants programme, North Shore City Council supports and resources initiatives that meet community needs and strengthen communities.

The council currently offers assistance to qualifying individuals and organisations under the Community Investment Scheme and the Creative Communities Programme.

Community Investment Scheme
This scheme funds grants for city-wide community projects, and also for projects tailored for local areas.

Creative Communities Scheme
The Creative Communities is a scheme to support and develop the arts in New Zeland and is funded by the Lottery Grants Board. Grants are selected by a committee of Council and are made for proposals under $500 and over $500 and are subject to different approval processes.

Applications open for the next "Grants over $500" on August 25 until September 19.
